AMAR SAKSENA

Is a Corporate Lawyer with over 35 years of international experience. He started his professional life as a lawyer in Kuwait with a law firm and handled banking, corporate law, shipbuilding, power stations, civil and engineering contracts among others.

Thereafter he moved to Bahrain to serve as General Counsel for 5 years to a Bahrain incorporated wholesale offshore bank owned by Middle East Governments. The Bank's main business was cross-border project financing, loans and trade finance involving commodities and general trade.

He later moved to another Bahrain incorporated wholesale offshore bank as Group General Counsel for 9 years. In this capacity he was responsible for the legal affairs of the Bank and all of it's subsidiaries and related entities around the world. He was intimately involved in setting up banking and finance subsidiaries in various countries and in all aspects of the Bank's banking and investment banking business including: bridge finance for LBO's and MBO's, bond issues, commercial paper programs, acquisitions, establishing funds and setting up tax efficient structures for the Bank's world-wide wholesale and investment banking operations. He represented the Bank on the board of it's banking subsidiary and served as the Board Secretary and on key Bank management bodies.

His areas of expertise include cross border project and trade finance transactions and investment banking transactions including asset acquisition, mergers and acquisitions.

He left Bahrain for Dubai in 1994 and was the Senior Partner in a Dubai based law firm. He was responsible for the Corporate and Banking side of the practice, in which capacity he handled various issues for the corporate and retail sectors of the Firm's banking clients.

He left the firm to set up this company in 1997.

SIGRUN SAKSENA

Sigrun has 12 years of experience in the financial services industry.

His experience spans corporate finance, private equity and hedge funds in the US, UK and the GCC.

He started his career in corporate finance where he was responsible for arranging participating lenders for loan syndication in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries for borrowers ranging from large corporate conglomerates involved in manufacturing, construction, retail and government related project finance.

He subsequently moved into the private equity space where he sourced private equity opportunities in the Middle East, North Africa and the Indian Sub-Continent. He assembled high net-worth investor and institutional groups, performed due diligence and determined and negotiated valuations for a variety of transactions in the telecom, retail and manufacturing sectors. In addition, he prepared presentations and private placement memoranda in conjunction with research on laws and regulations related to cross border private placements and initial public offerings. He also developed merger and acquisition strategy and structures tailored to meet individual client requirements.

His most recent experience in hedge funds involved research on hedge fund managers, strategies, structures and tax implications in the US, EU and tax haven jurisdictions and developing marketing directives geared towards institutional investors, family offices and high net worth individuals.

ANOUK SAKSENA

Anouk has 9 years of work experience in marketing, public relations and business administration.

Her career started at the Middle East offices of a US based company that catered to various economic sectors requiring satellite imagery. While there she handled marketing, PR and managed the company's participation in various high profile events.

She then moved into the administrative capacity at a center for special needs adults and children. During her time there she handled all aspects of business administration for the center as well as organizing the center's participation in events, most importantly of which were fundraising events.

Later she worked for a UAE based media company that produced content for broadcast. She continued to work in the administrative capacity where she was solely responsible for handling marketing, PR, logistical and all administrative affairs.
